Job Description
    1. Preparation of Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA), Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and review Road Safety Audit (RSA) by register auditor to obtain approval from relevant agencies;

    2. Preparation and conducting for transport software project using software (VISSIM, VISSUM, SIDRA and others) to suit JKR and client requirement to complete TIA report;

    3. Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA)

  • Determine TIA project based on size and type of development;
  • Consult with client;
  • Survey traffic location;
  • Guide technician for traffic count data entry, key intersections and roadways during peak hour and you are requested to do traffic count and any others related survey if our technicians are not available;
  • Liaise with internal department to get raw data, sketch up from architect department and others
  • To prepare a conceptual drawing for any mitigation measures using AutoCAD, refer to the relevant sections of the TIA report.;
  • Prepare TIA report and review by document the entire process;
  • Submit and discuss draft report with client;
  • Submit report to authority and attend any meeting with clients and authorities and also do the necessary amendment as per requested;
  • To attend kick-off meeting/ progress meeting/ site meeting and agencies related to the project and frequency of meeting is subjected to the client needs;
  • Any TIA report updated shall be submitted to the client and the authorities;
  • Do presentation with authority (if required);
  • Follow up with authority to get approval letter;
  • To assist contract department in preparation of tender, RFI and RFQ by potential clients and others
  • 4. Traffic Management Plan (TMP)

  • Draft temporary traffic layouts and detours in AutoCAD;
  • Coordinate with authority and contractor to obtain necessary permit and approval;
  • Design detour route, signage and barrier layout;
  • Monitor implementation of TMP on-site; Supervise or liaise with Traffic Management Officer (TMO), Traffic Management Supervisor (TMS) and contractor to ensure compliance;Keep up to date with relevant legislation, codes and industry practices;
  • Update the TMP when site conditions change and issue revised drawings;
  • Prepare TMP report;
  • Submit report to authority and attend any meeting with clients and authorities and also do the necessary amendment as per requested
  • To attend kick-off meeting/ progress meeting/ site meeting and agencies related to the project and frequency of meeting is subjected to the client needs and you are requested to attend meeting on behalf of TMO (if TMO is not available);
  • To assist contract department in preparation of tender, RFI and RFQ by potential clients and others.
  • 5. Road Safety Audit (RSA)

  • Liaise with contract department regarding tender or quotation project and determine project scope for RFQ purpose;
  • Liaise with client or Road Safety Auditor for RSA project to provide traffic data, drawings and site inputs;
  • Assist Road Safety Auditor in preparing RSA report;
  • Review Road Safety Audit report which prepared by register auditor prior to any submission to the authorities and client;
  • To assist contract department in preparation of tender, RF1 and RFQ by potential clients and others.
  • 6. Receiving ad hoc tasks from management refers to unexpected or unplanned tasks that arise during the workday or project, requiring immediate attention and action;
    7. If any others assignment regarding traffic matters will be instructed by MD by time to time is subjected to the current situation.

Job Description
    1. Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental
    Monitoring Report (EMR) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to obtain approval from Department of Environment (DOE) or the others relevant agencies;

    2. Schedule project coordination meeting with MD and Senior Manager before meeting with authorities or client and prepare minutes meeting to comply ISO requirement;

    3. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

  • To liaise with agencies on the latest requirement,
    standards/regulations that is applicable to the project such as
    write an official letter to technical agencies, NGOs and Carbon Copy (CC) to client and follow up by weekly basis;
  • To attend kick-off meeting/ progress meeting/ site meeting and
    agencies related to the project and frequency of meeting is
    subjected to the client needs;
  • To liaise with client on the information needed for the project;
  • To understand the nature and components/concepts of the
    project in order to assess the suitable methods to be use in study;
  • To liaise with Subject Specialist or related associate (hired by EIA
    Consultant) on the Environmental Quality Modelling related to the project;
  • To conduct Environmental Quality Monitoring as baseline study
    as part of the requirement to the project;
  • To assist technicians and work together with them for any
    sampling as required by DOE or authorities or client and also you are requested to do the necessary sampling (water, air, noise,
    gas and socio survey) if our technicians are not available;
  • To gather and analyze the environmental quality data and data
    gain from item i to vii for the completion of EIA Report;
  • To attend site visit, EIATORAC and EIATRC meeting as part of
    the EIA approval process, to follow up with DOE and authorities within 3 days times for any comment and also output from the meetings (EIATRC and EIATORAC),
  • To do a correction, amendment and to updating EIA report as per commented by DOE, authorities and appointed individual;
  • To liaise with EIA team member to gather primary and secondary
    data related to the project;
  • To liaise with internal department such as GIS, Drafter/Designer
    for LDP2M2, Architect, Technicians, Flora and Fauna Study, SIA and Traffic (if applicable) and others subject specialist with regard the same expert in order to comply DOE requirement;
  • To prepare the EIA report for submission and approval from DOE
    and other relevant agencies;
  • Gather feedbacks from communities (from FGD or public
    display), to attend FGD exercise and also tabulate into the study;
  • To attend any inspection and prepare with the necessary report
    to comply client needs as such ICE works and do the necessary submission to the authority;
  • To complete any task or assignment as per the stipulated date by
    client and Managing Director. Any delay please report to MD and client with comprehensive reasons and also to complete with CPM to expedite the works in order to fulfill to the client and authorities.
  • 4. Environmental Management Plan (EMP)

  • To liaise with agencies on the latest requirement,
    standards/regulations that is applicable to the project;
  • To attend kick-off meeting/ progress meeting/ site meeting
    related to the project;
  • To liaise with client on the information needed for the project;
  • To with Subject Specialist or related associate (hired by EIA
    Consultant) on the Environmental Quality Modelling related to the project;
  • To attend site visit and technical meeting with agencies to
    discuss on the project;
  • To prepare the EMP report for submission and approval from
    DOE, JKR and other relevant agencies;
  • To conduct environmental quality monitoring, data gathering
    and data analysis for the completion of EMP report;
  • Preparing ESCP report for submission to JPS (if required);
  • 5. Environmental Monitoring Report (EMR)

  • To liaise with clients on the preferable monitoring stations;
  • To liaise with environmental field technicians on the
    environmental quality monitoring to be conduct monthly;
  • To prepare monthly EMR report submission to DOE, JKR,
    clients and other relevant agencies;
  • To attend monthly site meetings;
  • To liaise with environmental auditors to conduct environmental
    audit on site;
  • Preparing PCP and CAR reports for project closure (in
    accordance to the BQ);
  • 6. To prepare other related environment report if needed;
    7. Upload and manage ESDR (Environment Shared Data Repository)
    files for the Environment Department;
